Kai’s bath-night dryer is the Shernbao Super Cyclone force dryer. It blows water out of a double coat so a towel is not the whole job. Loud. Bathroom only. Very helpful. It does not replace the rake.
How a bath night runs
Bathroom, door closed. Towel the drip. Start farther away, lower force, treats. Keep the nozzle moving. Don’t cook his skin. If he leans away, stop.
Rake once he’s dry. Wet dragging a deshedder is how you scratch. The dryer just gets you to the Maxpower rake sooner.
What it won’t do
It won’t stop shedding. It won’t freshen a dusty coat between baths. That’s the waterless spray. It doesn’t travel. It’s loud on purpose. Hair that still hits the floor goes to the robot vacuum we run for Aussie hair.
Shernbao dryer FAQ
Is the Shernbao dryer loud?
Yes, it’s loud on purpose. We use it in the bathroom only, door closed.
Does a force dryer stop shedding?
No. It blows water out of a double coat and moves loose undercoat into a drift. It doesn’t replace the rake.
Should I rake before or after drying?
After. Rake once he’s dry. Dragging a deshedder through a wet coat is how you scratch.
How do I get my Aussie used to the dryer?
Start farther away, lower force, treats. Keep the nozzle moving and don’t cook his skin. If he leans away, stop.
